this is an 11′ wide x 7′ high handmade garage door. the material is hand picked red cedar all #1 select. it took me aprox 100hr’s to build this door. there are no nail’s or screw’s accept for the hardware. post to rail are all mortise & tenon joints, and all raised panel’s are floating with small rubber grommet’s located along there edge’s to prevent them from coming loose and to allow expansion & contraction of the main frame. the stain is Bombay mahogany and 4 coat’s of clear lacquer uv resistant. cost was cedar 00 hardware 0 opener 0 total 00 plus taxes.
